300 ups the lux
It wouldn't seem all that easy for Chrysler to make its current 300 more deluxe, USA Today said, but now comes an even fancier version, the 2012 Chrysler 300 Luxury Series.
The latest version of the 300 includes among other luxury items "ultra-premium leather - once limited to exotic Italian luxury cars," USA Today said.
The Chicago Tribune noted that the refreshed for 2011 300 earned major points for its much improved interior, and for 2012, Chrysler is adding even more premium materials and upping the fancy factor of its flagship sedan. Chrysler is adding a new top-line trim level to the 300, called the Luxury Series, joining the Limited, 300C, S series and high-performance SRT8, the Tribune said.
Chrysler's latest entry for the lucrative "black car" market, the new "Luxury Series" edition of its flagship Chrysler 300 sedan, adds new interiors to recent power train additions, Autoweek magazine said.
The Luxury Series sedans pick up several features from other high-end Chrysler Group vehicles, such as 12 way power-adjustable seating as well as heated and ventilated front and rear seats, Autoweek said.
