The 2012 Ram 2500 Power Wagon was selected by Four Wheeler Magazine as its "2012 Pickup Truck of the Year," qualifying for the honor by offering a new six speed transmission and all new RamBox for their middle-length (6 foot 4 inch long) truck bed, PickupTrucks.com said.
John Cappa, Editor of Four Wheeler, said, "The Power Wagon crawls over the difficult rocky terrain...yet it's still civilized enough to be daily driven. You include the RamBox and you end up with a remarkable factory-built 3/4-ton truck that easily deserves Four Wheeler's Pickup Truck of the Year award," the website said.
The 2012 Pickup Truck of the Year award marks the vehicle's fourth win since the competition's inception, Four Wheeler Magazine noted. The Ram Power Wagon outperformed the other vehicles in the competition and "reminded the editorial staff what a versatile pickup Ram has created," Four Wheeler Magazine said.
