Wrangler defines Jeep® brand, way of life

The 2012 Jeep® Wrangler defines more than a brand it defines a country, a way of life, the Detroit News said.

Now Wrangler is expanding beyond the wonderfully crazed enthusiasts: Jeep popped out the 2012 version with better gas mileage, more power and a lot more refinement inside and out, the News said.

The big news for the 2012 Unlimited (and two-door Wrangler) is a modern 3.6-liter 24-valve, dual overhead camshaft V-6  and a modern automatic transmission, TheWeeklyDriver.com said in an article titled "The Best Jeep Ever?" Driving the Wrangler, there's never a sense of sacrifice; it can do everything, if not more, than all of the Wranglers from years gone by, the Detroit News said. Off the road, it will chew up almost any terrain in front of it; on the road, it feels like a nice SUV with a smooth ride, the News said.

The interior is snazzy, just like Wrangler should be strong on the outside but adding comfort on the inside, the Washington Times said. Jeep is superior off-road or on; it's just fun to drive, whether it's the two or four-door versions, the Times said.

The Wrangler is the image of the original Jeep icon  all the tow hooks, ground clearance and off-road capability is still there, the Fort Worth (Texas) Examiner said in its review.
